If Melissa ever wants to leave her day job, she can become a wedding planner – she planned a wedding for 250 guests all by herself! She said she stayed organized using “a great check-list, full 8.5 x 11 size calendar, and a wedding binder” that she put together herself. Her wedding was romantic and just the way she wanted it, as she found vendors that were perfect for her, all over the Greater Vancouver. Let’s check out her wedding ingredient list for this gorgeous wedding:

Flowers from Along Came Amy: “I honestly fell in love with the flowers. She just knew exactly what I wanted when I described the colours and the look that I was aiming for. Great service, personality, and she handled everything for me.” 2. Wedding cake from Sweet Thea Cake Company: “My wedding cake was absolutely delicious! It was a custom strawberry shortcake made with butter cream icing, fresh strawberries, and a light vanilla cake. We actually ordered the cake enough for 400 people, but it was all gone before I could even have seconds! Thea is an amazing baker and I would highly recommend her.” 3. DJ from Audio Edge Entertainment: “Audio Edge Entertainment is highly professional and has probably the best equipment in town! Married to a high techy man, he knows what is the best speakers and equipment the industry can offer and this was the only company who has them! The music was perfect, on cue, and really got the party started! They even had the video presentation set up for us, text to request songs, and many more other neat services we were able to add on.” 4. Wedding Dress from Mia Boutique: “I also very much enjoyed searching for my wedding dress at Mia Boutique. The service was great, it is a very personable, one-on-one session with the consultant. Usually at bigger bridal stores, the associates would be handling multiple customers at the same time, but here I was able to have her attention the whole time I was there.”
- Thank you Melissa for your recommendations, and congratulations to the couple!
